One feature that I like with Gmail is integrated with Google Docs to view attachment. With this feature you can view attachment on Google Docs before download into your PC. When you view the attachment it will automatically save on your Google Docs account. Currently it support to view PDF and Doc format. And now Google Docs add 12 file types to view with Google Docs. There are 12 new file formats that you can view with Google Docs Viewer.
The 12 new file types are:
- Microsoft Excel (.XLS and .XLSX)
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 / 2010 (.PPTX)
- Apple Pages (.PAGES)
- Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
- Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
- Autodesk AutoCad (.DXF)
- Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG)
- PostScript (.EPS, .PS)
- TrueType (.TTF)
- XML Paper Specification (.XPS)
Google Docs now also support for Microsoft 2007 or above file type format (DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX)
In your Gmail, these types of attachments will now show a View link, and clicking on this link will bring up the Google Docs Viewer.

We hope Google Docs will put any popular document or image file types format like new file format DjVu
Remember you can also use Google Docs Viewer to view document online on any website.
